FRANCIS PITTAPPILLIL is a Syro-Malabar priest belongs to the diocese of Kothamangalam, Kerala, India; doctor in Oriental Ecclesiastical Sciences. He holds Masters degree in Syriac language from India and doctorate in Oriental Sciences from Rome. At present he is working as the joint secretary of both the Commission for Liturgy and Doctrine, in the Major Archi- episcopal Curia of the Syro Malabar church.
